Call Option

A Call option is a contract in in which the holder has the right to purchase a specific asset at a predetermined price up until a specific date. For example you could purchase a December Call Option on MSFT with a strike price of 30. With this call option you would be allowed to buy 100 shares of MSFT at $30 per share up until the option expires.
